The inspiration
‘Genesis III’ is part of the Energiya Series, themed around energy centres of our body, which was inspired by the chakra system.Today, it is believed that the colour, function, and position in the body dictates the vibrational frequency of each chakra. The Genesis set was inspired by the ‘root chakra’ [396Hz].
Root chakra is associated with origin, essence and feelings of grounding, belonging and vitality. Its colour assignment is ‘red’, which represents courage, security, confidence and is believed to have energizing qualities like passion and power. Colour therapy is not a new concept and has been proven to impact the way we feel. Ultimately, if you believe certain philosophies are helpful to you and your self-care practise, then it is real to you…and that is all that matters.
The artwork comes signed on the bottom right side of the cradle board and includes a certificate of authenticity, while the sides feature naturally accumulated drips of resin for a raw feel.
This piece does not include hanging hardware so you can choose the best option for you. Light artwork is generally okay to be resting on a couple of screws, but it is recommended to get professional help especially when hanging heavy artwork, ensuring that the hardware is appropriate for the size and weight of the art.
